Description

The solid O-switched Neodymium:YAG laser emits a series of high-energy pulses that occur in short time spans of nanoseconds, somewhat lower than the thermal relaxation times of the target tissues.

The emission is of double frequency, with a wavelength of 1064 nm and 532 nm and, by applying solid polymer dyes, wavelengths of 585 nm in yellow and 650 nm in red are obtained.

These frequencies allow the treatment of vascular lesions, including flat angiomes and microvarices, all colors of tattoos, as well as superficial benign pigmented lesions without affecting the vessels, the residual purpuric component being minimal, since the red color (650 nm ) of the laser is not absorbed by hemoglobin.

This NdNAG laser has been used for the resurfacing of wrinkles and post-acne scars, as well as for subpalpebral depigmentation.
